NEW Course Launched: Beginner's Coding Module

STEMshot.png

Just launched and currently live: a new course for middle schools and high schools. The Beginner’s Coding Module provides six to nine weeks of curriculum, designed for use in existing STEM or Introduction to Technology courses.

This curriculum is suitable for 8th graders as a capstone to their middle school STEM courses, or as an opportunity for 9th graders to get their feet wet writing code before moving on to more advanced computer science courses.

Students with no prior knowledge will learn to write code in the Java programming language while making video games. They are guided along the way by instructional text, animations, and video walkthroughs.

The teacher version of the course includes finished versions of all code projects, sample tests, and sample project rubrics.
