Resources for the Arkansas Computer Science Initiative

The state of Arkansas is helping to lead the nation in computer science and coding education. With Arkansas Computer Science Initiative, Arkansas high schools are now requiring that computer science courses be taught all public high schools. Arkansas is the first state in the U.S. to make computer science a required course.

The state of Arkansas is working to provide teachers the resources they need to teach coding skills effectively. At enCode Create, we hope to help Arkansas teachers as well with our computer science curriculum resources.

Our curriculum is in close alignment with the new state computer science standards for the Computer Science with Programming/Coding Emphasis course pathway.

Curriculum is served via our online course platform, or can be hosted in a school’s learning management system. We proudly offer four units for free, giving all Arkansas computer science teachers constant access to helpful classroom resources.

At enCode/Create, we invite you to Teach Code Better.
